Board Member Corner
Ever since my first trip with the club, I knew I met my tribe! Getting to know travelers locally, statewide and even across the country is one of the greatest attributes of TBSSB. With my passion for skiing and meeting new people, it was a natural step to take co-leading and then leading some fantastic trips to bucket list destinations. Exploring, and then sharing the best of what each ski destination offers as far as cuisine, activities and sights makes the work worthwhile!
During the past five years as Social Director then VP, I was able to grow relationships and create some exciting events such as touring the murals on bikes in St. Pete, kayaking Honeymoon Island in Dunedin, and floating down the Rainbow River in the heat of summer. Planning our monthly off-season events was a challenge well met and attended
Our kick-off, fall, Christmas and end of season parties are a great time to experience a welcome atmosphere with fellow travelers sharing their best ski/snowboard stories with hopes of creating more great mountain memories.
I'm looking forward to doing my part to bring more excitement and camaraderie to the TBSSB club this year as president!
