Lodging
The Snakedance condos are a slope-side/ski in-ski out resort located in the center of the village of Taos Ski Valley that blends old-world alpine tradition with modern convenience. They specialize in warm hospitality and enjoy sharing their love of Taos Ski Valley with passionate skiers and snowboarders ready to experience the thrill of Taos. It includes a Jacuzzi, sauna, spa, and fitness facility. There is a game room, on site restaurant (Hondo), and bar. All shops, restaurants, and services of the Ski Valley are within walking distance, including a Ski valet with ski storage and boot dryers, concierge service, a market, and a liquor store. All the units come with split kings so, in other words, two people in each bedroom unless they want a king bed, such as a couple or single supplement. Condos feature granite kitchens, wireless internet, gas fireplaces and Juliet balconies- all to make this a luxury resort.
The Mountain
Taos Ski Valley is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains in Northern New Mexico and is home to a distinctive European atmosphere combined with local Native American and Spanish cultures. Taos is a powder lover’s paradise and is known for having light dry powder, undetectable lift lines, steep chutes, big bumps, cornices, and tree glades. The resort grants access to 1,294 acres of skiable terrain and receives an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area has a great mix of terrain, providing trails for all ability types and is home to one of the country’s highest rated ski schools. The town of Taos is just 19 miles away and is a quaint town of Native American and Hispanic history with daily shuttles. An additional scheduled trip to the town will be provided
