As part of the incredible Espace Killy interconnected ski region, Val d'Isère has long been the haunt of Alpine skiers and winter enthusiasts. With traditional Savoy architecture, prestigious service and ski in ski out access, skiers will love the Club Med’s Val d’Isère location. Home to many Olympic champions including legendary gold medalist Jean-Claude Killy, Val d'Isère offers the whole package with a real town surrounded by the kind of tall jagged peaks, endless vertical and superior terrain that can only be found in the French Savoie Alps. The ski area, which is the largest in France, is linked with Tignes, creating “L’Espace Killy,” with 186 miles of marked runs for every level of skier, as well as ample off-piste and untracked powder for the expert. On a Val d’Isère ski vacation you’ll be pleasantly surprised to discover that "the authentic skiers' village,” manages incredible harmony between modern tourism and local chalet-style architecture.

Trip Highlights
Club Med Val d'Isère features two onsite restaurants and a bar:

Restaurants
The Bellevarde Restaurant. This spacious restaurant with a bright, contemporary touch, has wonderful views of the mountains, a perfect setting to linger over meals with family and friends.
The Chalet du Charvet Speciality Restaurant. Le Chalet du Charvet specialises in Savoyard dishes such as fondue and pierrade. Come evening, the ambience is just right for romantic dinners or a quiet evening with friends and family. Relax and let our waiters take care of you, all you have to do is book your table, at Reception.
Bars
Main bar This bright and colorful bar is in the centre of the Club Med Val d'Isère, opposite the Reception and theatre. Open all day and evening, it’s the perfect place for a warming drink or snack before hitting the slopes of this famous ski resort.
Snow cover in Val d’Isère is amazing, but what’s also important is the ambience of staying in an authentic mountain village.
At the center is a fine Baroque church and a cluster of ancient chalets built in traditional style using stone, wood and slate. This gives the resort a welcoming warm atmosphere that borders on the magical. Take a stroll through the village, do a bit of shopping, meet up with your friends , linger over a coffee in one of the numerous enticing cafes and drink in the lively atmosphere.
Located in the middle of a valley, Val d’Isère is, above all, a village of considerable authentic charm that it has managed to maintain as it has grown in size over the years. It’s a peaceful place with a wide range of accommodation. The aim is to provide all the facilities to make your holiday a complete success - Val d’Isère is a truly unique place for a holiday.
The snow and the ski area are a must in Val d’Isère but what does make the difference is the village. The baroque church, the cozy chalets… And the mountains all around. We call it “Magic”.
