We will travel from the Barcelona airport in a private coach bus thru the Pyrnees mountains, a breathtaking ride and arrive at the ski resort, Baqueira Beret where we will spend 5 nights, 4 days of skiing. This is Spain’s largest and most visited ski resort, located in the Val d’Aran region of the Catalon Pyrenees. The resort spans three interconnected areas-Baqueira, Beret and Bonaiqua all offering a diverse range of terrains suitable for all ski levels. The surrounding valley is dotted with over 50 quaint villages, stone and wood houses, ancient Romanesque churches and offering a rich cultural experience alongside skiing.

SKI TERRAIN
Approximately 165 kilometers of marked slopes accommodating beginners, intermediates and advanced/experts alike. The modern lift system ensures efficient access across the skiable terrain. It is also known for its reliable snowfall attributed to its Atlantic climate and north facing orientation. It hosts 36 lifts including a gondola and 19 chair lifts ensuring efficient access across its diverse terrain. Baquera Beret boasts just over 5,600 acres of skiable terrain. This is larger than Vail, Aspen, Snowmass, Steamboat or Jackson Hole resorts, which as you know, are quite popular amongst the club members. Ski guides are recommended at least for the first day!

We will enjoy 5 nights at the 5-Star Hotel Val de Neu, situated in the heart of Baqueira Beret. It is 50 meters( 50 yards) from the main cable lift. The rooms are upscale, with stunning views of the slopes and the Aran Valley. Each room is equipped with modern amenities including free WI-FI, minibar, coffee machines and a pillow menu…yes a pillow menu!!
Located at the base of the resort, it has ski-to-door access. There is ski storage, wellness spa (thermal circuit), full daily breakfast buffet, meals each night, bar/lounge and a gym. This hotel is located near the gallery which hosts ski shops, bars, restaurants, etc. This is truly an amazing property.

• Half Day tour to Vielha - the large village down the valley from BB, includes a walking tour of the village and free time for shopping and lunch. (9am -2pm)

• The Snow Mobile Excursion in Baqueira is one of the most popular non-ski options available at the resort. Here are the options and times:
• Snowmobile or Dogsled tour only: 10:30AM & 5:00PM (90 minute tour – not including travel time)
• Snowmobile or Dogsled tour & Lunch: 12:30 PM (3 hours/30 min tour – not including travel time)
• Snowmobile tour & Dinner: 8:00PM (3h 30 min tour – not including travel time) Please note that if you opt for the dinner tour, there is no reduction for not having the dinner at your hotel
• Snow Shoeing tour for 3h 15m – times are not set yet

3 Nights in Barcelona
We will be staying at the 4-Star Avenida Palace Hotel. This hotel is centrally located. You can walk to the Las Ramblas, walk to the Sagrada Familia, as well as the Picasso museums and many other sights this city is famous for. I will be arranging an optional tour with Viator where we will spend ½ day visiting the Montserrat Monastery and Winery, where we will sample Spanish wines and delicious pairings. (let Peggy know if this interests you)

Deposit: $500.00 per person with a completed and signed trip application, along with a copy of your passport.

Cancellation Date: All cancellations must be received in writing by December 1, 2025. See cancellation policy on the back of the TBSSB trip application.
Balance Due: December 1, 2025.
