Price includes round trip air, bus transfers and luxury lodging just steps away from the gondola and mountain activities. In addition, there will be a pre-trip party, welcome wine and cheese party, après and a farewell banquet dinner sponsored by TBSSB. The FSC will also sponsor two dinners, social hours and an optional “fun” race.
Join the Tampa Bay Snow Skiers and Boarders on a fun packed journey to Mammoth Mountain! Your week long ski trip will begin at Tampa International Airport on Saturday. Experienced trip leaders will meet and assist you at the airport. Upon arrival a charter coach will transport our group on a stunning journey thru the mountains to the resort.
The Mountain
The summit elevation is 11,053 feet and the base elevation is 7,953 feet giving you 3,100 vertical feet of fun. It has over 3,500 skiable acres, averages 300 sunny days per year and over 400 inches of snowfall. There are 150 trails and the skill level breakdown is 25% beginner, 40% intermediate, 20% advanced, and 15% expert. Riders can enjoy 9 terrain parks, a super pipe and 3 half pipes with plenty of jibs and jumps. There are 28 total lifts with 3 gondolas, 2 express 6-chairs and 8 express quad chairs. June Mountain, which is a sister to Mammoth is just 20 minutes north and the lift tickets are interchangeable. June Mountain ski area consists of two mountains, Rainbow Mountain, with an elevation of 10,040 feet, and June Mountain, with a peak of 10,090 feet. The total vertical rise from the lower ticket office to the summit of June Mountain is 2,545 feet. It has 1500 skiable acres with 15% beginner, 40% intermediate and 45% advanced with seven lifts comprised of 2 quads, 4 doubles and a carpet. This mountain averages 250 inches of snow per season.
Lodging
We will be staying at The Westin Monarch, is an upscale full-service luxury property located right in the village for 6 nights (depart Friday for Reno). It’s just steps away from restaurants, bars, shopping and nightlife options.
The Westin offers a variety of amenities including a full-service concierge, on site rental shop, the Whitebark Restaurant and Lounge, heated outdoor pool and hot tub, Wi-Fi, ski valet and exercise room.
Next to the Westin is the village gondola that transports you in approximately 5 minutes to the main ski area. This is the closest you can get to a ski in/out access with luxury accommodations.
The Deluxe Studio Suites have one king bed and a pull-out sofa. There are also one bed and two bed deluxe suites available. All the suites have pull out sofas, kitchenettes or kitchens, plush bathrobes, Starbucks coffee and stunning views. The property accommodations are truly luxurious!!
Friday we will depart for Reno late afternoon (still will have plenty of time to ski) and check into the Silver Legacy Resort in Downtown Reno for 1 night. The Silver Legacy is a 4-Star Resort/Casino with free WiFi, an outdoor pool, fitness center, and 5 restaurants. This will allow you time to relax and enjoy DT Reno... maybe take in a show, Play golf at TopGolf, a relaxation experience at the SPA, gamble (maybe even hit the jackpot), sightsee, etc.! There is so much to do in Reno! And the best part is that you will not have to wake up at 3am to catch a bus to the airport.

Mammoth also offers back country tours, dog sledding, snow cat tours, ice skating, ranches, snowmobiling, snow-shoeing and horse drawn sleigh rides. There is a tubing park, kids club and childcare available as well.
This is a FLORIDA SKI COUNCIL TRIP. There will be a “FUN” race competition with an award ceremony, a welcome dinner, crazy hat and boxer day, complimentary mountain lunch and a themed dinner/dance party. All of these activities are in addition to the events offered by TBSSB.
Your trip leaders will plan social events, après ski parties, and a fabulous farewell banquet dinner. We will help with discounted lift tickets, rental equipment and handle many other details. A pre-trip ski party will be held to discuss more specifics of the trip (date to be determined later). You can relax and enjoy the trip.

Price Includes:
Round trip air, deluxe motor coach transfers, seven nights lodging, current taxes and social activities.
Deposit:
$250 per person, with completed and signed trip application. Price is based on 4 people in deluxe 2 bed 2 bath condo suite.
Cancellation Date:
All cancellations must be received in writing by December 1, 2020.

Balance Due:
Payment of final balance is due no later than December 8, 2020.

Deposit and balance of trip costs may be paid with a major credit card. You will be billed later for the final payment. At that time you will be able to order lift tickets. An administrative fee will be added if you chose to use a credit card.
